i am now ROAD LEGAL AGAIN.

i ended up learning that drivers' permits have expiration dates about a month after mine went to shit, so. whoops, i guess.

either way i retook the written test, and because my permit expired originally they just waived the practice time and said i could take the actual license test whenever i wanted within the next six months, so THAT one is next week.

other than that, found a jewelry box (been looking for a while because i own some jewelry, but have the WORST organizational system for it) and a REALLY warm sweater at the thrift store, PLUS a copy of fallout: new vegas with the manual still in it and everything, so that was cool.

sorry this is a small update, since the puerto rico trip shit has been REALLY mundane. i can't really report on a lot other than Getting Panda Express One Time or some shit.

4th of july was nice. i'm not fond of why it's a holiday, but nice excuse to spend time with family. i also learned that fakin' it, specifically the face making category, FUCKING SUCKS if you overregulate your expressions at all. i kept getting voted as the faker because i can't make faces as well as anyone else or because my defaults are used for so much. other than that, it wasn't bad

also ended up having a small cry after we were done but that was unrelated to the rest of the night.
